The Usher Society is the group of men who welcome everyone to the Vigil and 9:00 a.m. Sunday Masses, as well as the Holy Days of Obligation Masses here at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Their responsibilities include working with the coordinator of the ministers before the Mass begins in securing Eucharistic Ministers if the scheduled Ministers are not present. They also secure the Lector and Commentator if the scheduled person happen not to be present. They serve as Eucharistic Guards; they assist the handicapped at the entrance of Church and to receive Communion if needed. The ushers are used to direct parishioners receiving Communion so that it is done in an orderly and reverent manner. They assist anyone who may need assistance before, during or after Mass. They also distribute the Parish Bulletin after Masses.
